Like some of the others who have shown up today, I'm a Dis-immigrant. Didn't even know these boards existed, but came around today and am glad to be here. I have quickly become a Disney fanatic since taking our girls to WDW for the first time last summer (they were 1 and 2 at the time), and we are currently in the process of purchasing a resale at SSR. I'm looking forward to learning how to make the most of our points from all of you, and have really appreciated the welcome and communication I've seen here throughout today.

:goob: I'm organizing my first trip to WDW and I agree these forums have been very helpful. If you ask a question that has been discussed in depth a long time contributor will often post the thread for followup. Lotsa good info!!! :welcome: :chat:

Where do you live on the Oregon coast? We live in Portland... but we spend most weekends on the coast. We will be spending a week at Seaside starting on Friday. Seaside and Depoe Bay are our favorites... but we go other places too.

Jim we live in Tillamook County in the small town of Nehalem, about 13 miles south of Cannon Beach. I am a real estate broker and appraiser, my website is JohnCoopersmith.com. Funny you should ask, I was just reading the thread about New Years and the lady from Scotland and visited your website. I see you work in the computer industry with Intel. I recall those days of yore, pre-technology, business and life were so different then, remember carbon paper? Devices such as the USB have made our lives easier and more fulfilling really.

For many years... my "industry name" was Mr USB. I was responsible for the industry wide initiative. It was so much fun to get over 1000 companies building new and innovative products. I remember using a slide during a keynote labeled: USB... the first 100 million devices. People would laugh... but the latest IDC numbers are 2.2 Billion USB devices annually! My mistake was not getting a $0.01 royalty on each one. LOL
