My name is Lee. Dh and I just bought 80 DVC points at HHI. Always looking for DVC talk. I've been to WDW only twice, but, since I'm from California, I've been to Disneyland a lot!:sunny:

Thanks for the Welcome. I haven't been to HH, don't intend to go either. Just bought the points because they were cheap (71 pp) and because I was able to buy only 80.:blueflowe
We are planning a WDW trip for Dec, 2007 and I want/need to exchange with someone who really wants to go to HH:thumbsup:

Thats why I got onto this board; because I wanted a board that was exclusivley DVC

I went on the DVC tour 9 years ago. We didn't have the money, but I couldn't give up the idea. When I found a resale that was doable, we went for it. BTW, I can't ask for anything else for a good number of years, and if DH wants a motorcycle, I get to keep my mouth SHUT:tapedshut

I'm not from as far as the west coast, but dh still says, "If we have to get plane tickets, why wouldn't we go to Disney World?" I must admit, I kind of agree. :p

You know, when I started planning my WDW trip, we were going to FW "to save money" . So I found this really great FW site, which led me to many sites. Now I'm on Tagrel, Disney Echo, TGM and now here! I am spending Waaaaaaay to much time on the computer!!
AND we've already spent 5000 dollars on DVC. (so much for saving money!):ROTFL:

Hi, Lee - I've just joined as well. We're also new DVC members - SSR.

The Hilton Head resort is really funny to me. My mother had a non-Disney time share on the island. I remember driving past the Disney DVC and wondering "Why in the world would anyone stay there? What possible enhancements could a mouse give to a vacation?" Now, I'm having trouble imaging a vacation without some form of Disney involvement!!

HHI was our last DVC resort to visit and its the one that convinced us to buy into DVC!

Enjoy your WDW vacations for a few years then give HHI a try. I can guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised.
