Member portrait offer available through June 30

Professional Portrait sittings are available now at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa for $49.95 plus tax, and Disney Vacation Club Members may take advantage of a special, limited-time offer.

Through June 30, 2008, Members who book a sitting at this location will receive a complimentary photo package that includes one 6-inch-by-8-inch photo and four 4-inch-by-6-inch photos from their session.

Guests have a variety of options following a photo session at the resort, from purchasing prints or a photo CD at the Disney's PhotoPass desk near The Artist's Palette gift shop (the desk is open daily from 8 a.m.-dusk) to simply using their Disney's PhotoPass card to access and purchase their photos online after they return home.

Disney Resorts Private Photo Shoot - You can arrange for private 30 minute photo sessions with a Disney's PhotoPass photographer at the Grand Floridian, Polynesian or Saratoga Springs Resort. The sessions includes around 40 photos (limited only by time) taken around the picturesque resorts and their beaches. Pricing is as follows: $49.95 for a Disney's PhotoPass card containing your photos which can then be added to your disneyphotopass.com account; $124.95 (or save 20% by pre-ordering - see details below) which will get you a PhotoCD with your images. If you choose to get the PhotoCD, you can save your receipt and CD and exchange it later on during your vacation for a new PhotoCD containing all of your Disney's PhotoPass images. The only catch is you won't be able to make enhancements to any of the photos; or bring the required proof that you pre-ordered the PhotoCD and the cost is only $25 (for the first session only, subsequent sessions are the normal rate of $49.95 per session). Reports from guests who have participated in the photo sessions are overwhelmingly positive. Available times are seasonal, starting daily at 8 am until 7 pm or sunset, whichever comes first. Call 407-824-1700 to make reservations up to 30 days in advance or for additional information.

This is really neat - but I'm not sure SSR is the most picturesque of the resorts!

The price isn't bad - it looks like the Photoposs photogs command less of a premium than the professional photographers booked through Disney's Event services.

has anyone used this service yet? We are going in August and we were thinking about it.

I'd like to do this in January. We need a new family photo anyway. I pick the Polynesian, though.

It was my understanding that this was just a temporary thing they were trying out and it would not be available after June. I've previously booked a photographer through the Disney florist number and we had a session at MK for about an hour. It was MUCH more expensive than this option but we received a nice portfolio with several of the pictures mounted inside and all of the other pictures were in a box. This was about 3 years ago so I'm not sure if they still offer it.

We did this in May. We didn't have a family portrait so we decided to do it. :bluebloun

The photogs are pros and our guy did a great job. We got some amazing shots. I had told the photog that dd does (wins) pageants and he took some great portfolio quality shots of her. SSR was very picturesque. I'm super super super pickey about photos (was in the modeling industry in the 80"s so I know my stuff) and I was very pleased with the shoot.

Plus all the photopass photos from our entire trip were burned onto the cd so we own the rights to them so we didn't need to buy any off the photopass website and they dont expire because they are on my laptop. We even got to keep the ones from dh's bippity boppity boutique photo session.
