Looking to possibly spend 1 or 2 nights at WDW this summer and we only need a 1 day pass, preferably park hopper passes, trying not to spend $100+ for one day. If anyone knows any cheaper alternatives than purchasing from Disney directly please let me know.
Looked into the broker suggested by Mousesavers but it looks like they only offer 3+ day passes.
Appreciate any suggestions!

I am unaware of any 1 day hopper passes other than possibly some special ones handed out by Disney to special guests. There might be the possibility of using partially used non-expiring hoppers that have a day left, but then you would have had to have used the other days on a previous trip, which you obviously haven't. It's just not part of the ticket media that's available as far as I know.

About the only way I am aware of to get a deal on a 1 or 2 day ticket is to attend one of the timeshare presentations that offers this as a perk for putting up with, er, I mean attending. Those would likely be base tickets, not with the hopping option.
My vacation time is too valuable to waste doing this, but YMMV. The authorized non Disney ticket brokers do not sell 1 or 2 day tickets, so I believe you are mainly looking at Disney as your source. They will sell you a 1 or 2 day ticket with the hopper option, but as you have already figured out, this is very expensive. If you only have 1 or 2 days, it would save you a lot to pick two parks and skip the hopper option - that will save you over $40 per ticket. Do one day in MK, one in Epcot, or both days in MK, I'm sure YKWIM.
If you really must hop you might want to consider purchasing longer length tickets with the non-expiry option. The one day hopper through Disney is $116 plus tax (OUCH!), the 7 day non-expiry with park hopping is $359 plus tax, 10 day is $450 plus tax (or less if you purchase from a broker like undercovertourist.com or mapleleaftickets.com). Obviously the upfront cost for longer length tickets is higher, but if you know you will be returning to WDW, your per day cost is *significantly* lower.
