View Full Version : The Sorry For Not Posting But My Daily Existence Is Sucking The Life Out Of Me Thread

I thought we needed a place where those of us whose post frequency has dropped off abruptly could let others know why so they don't think we hate them and have moved on. If you notice that someone hasn't posted in awhile, check here to see if they've posted a reason. (Of course if that reason is that they hated you and have moved on, you've wasted a good deal of time).

As far as me personally - It kills me not to contribute as much as I'd like, but work and family, especially adjusting to the two-kids-instead-of-one mode, has altered my brain to the consistency of a cherry slurpee. However, in the words of Conan the Barbarian/Governor of California/Terminator - "I'll be back".

I'll likely be posting here from time to time as well. Those darn kids! Why do they expect me to feed them, wash their clothes and comb their hair! This stupid house! As much as we paid for it, the darn thing should clean itself but it doesn't so I'm stuck doing it! We were ripped off!

Good idea!

ETA: There's nothing sadder than a down in teh mouth horse. Hope you can rein things in soon Rash! :wizard:

LOL.......I can relate to that! I do, however, have withdrawals from these boards. If I could stay on here 24 hours a day I would. Unfortunately, I am suffering from sleep deprivation.

Having kids 16, 13, and 1 certainly does take up most of my time. Sometimes I feel like a :yo-yo:

Changing jobs and selling the house makes for a lot of time I have to spend doing definitely "un-quality" type activities. But I try to check in and keep up on what's going on as often as possible.

turned this into a sticky thread to see if the idea catches on.

I HATE when people are just busy yet we worry they are lost or have had something bad happen. I hope this takes off.

Rash - one to two almost killed me. Adding #3 has so far been not so bad. I will let you know how it goes when I actually officially return to work. :beaniepro

Hang in there everyone else! Here is some pixie dust that life gets less complicated.

Hmmm...that inspires a thought...Yuengling Slurpees! Besides the drastic increase in pre-teen alcoholism, I think they'd be a hit!

Now that my congo drums are in the shack here with me, I just don't have as much free time as I used to. :rockband:

Now that I've got my maturity impaired designation, I will have to make it a point to stop by more often, maybe even return to bad poetry soon.

You must have been reading my mind. Stop that!

I hope to get my brain back from the cleaners any time now. I promise to catch up and start pulling my weight around here. Let's just hope the cleaners don't over do it cause I didn't have much going in. :hammer:

Glad things are moving along. I missed you all. :beatinghe

It's a gift and a curse - I can't control it. And btw, what your thinking right now would land you in the big house in 11 states.
