Over 100 Midway Mania Photos

I was invited to a private event last night to celebrate the opening of Midway Mania. I had a GREAT time, and love the attraction.

I noticed there are four seats in a ride car. How does that work?

Is it a case that I can be shooting away at something and someone else turns the car around and I lose my target? Or are the cars stationary?

What a trip down memory lane that was,,tinker toys ,twister ,crazy eights, Chinese checkers...................felt like I fell into my old childhood toy box in a wild dream.

You are not moving and shooting. The car moves, then stops for the game (everyone will have a screen in front of them). You get a certain amount of time to shoot, then the car is on it's way again. The movement of the car is very smooth too, like Spiderman at IOA.

Only thing that concerns me is the sign said grand opening May 31st! We leave May 30th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm gonna hope that like other rides it will actually be open before the official grand opening. Thoughts?

I would bet it would open before then - maybe not full time, but perhaps. Spaceship Earth had pretty much opened 2 months before it's "grand" opening! The attraction is mostly done (there was still a few construction walls outside up) - but that seems to be about it. Plus, it's already soft-opened to cast, and to contractors, and to AP'ers today.
