Cruising on the Wonder 9/29

We are taking our first cruise ever next week! A surprise trip for the kids. We are very excited.

We are staying at the Contemporay Resort on points. Maybe not the best use of most points, but in our case we have 82 holding points, so it works out nicely. We get to try out the CR, a night at MK, breakfast at Chef Mickey's and then off to the Wonder.

Life is good.

How long is the cruise for?
You will have a blast, but remember: once you take a longer cruise you can never go back. (If this is a 7 day you will be wasted forever for a 3 day.)

It is only a 3 day cruise, but we are making the most of it...

Pirate Night will be in FULL PIRATE costume for everyone in the family!! Very siked. I got DH to wear a costume by saying all it was is a pair of sweats and a t-shirt! He is going as Mr Smee. I am making it so I hope it comes out decent...LOL

The kids have NO clue!! I have been having fun making several door signs, which the kids will embellish and hang.

You will have a blast! We had a good time on the 3-day even with bad weather for our trip. It's the perfect way to see if cruising's for you!

FYI -They offered to let us be picked up from AK and have half a day there before our cruise. Do it! They will make it worth your while in some nice little ways! We left main baggege at our resort, and checked carry-ons in at AK, so we did nothave to carry them around. Very fun!

I just have to say I am so excited I think I am going to burst! It is all I can do to not tell the kids.

Tonight I have to tweek the surprise shirts and print them out. I washed the shirts tonight... but have to wait until the kids are asleep before I attempt to do the iron on transfer.

I CANT WAIT!!!!!

Should we bop over to Epcot and do soaring before heading back to the MK for EMH that night??? WHere should we eat dinner.... How early can we get EMH bracelets.. should we hit MK, then bop over to Epcot to ride soarin then back to MK... HOW CAN I FIT IN SOARIN THIS TRIP!!!! :D

Last time we were at WDW they were building Soarin.....

Just had to say, that Soarin' was great! If you go in the evening, though, be prepared to wait.
