I might be going to F/W this year :bouncingp

I told my mom we should go sometime to F/W just the two of us for a couple days for some fun. I never thought she would actually take me up on it, just always thought it would be one of those "that sounds nice" but never actually go ahead and do it.

Well she said something about going this year and I told her I could only afford the room (free of course ;) although she doesn't know that we bought DVC :shhh: ) and my ticket (since I was going to buy an AP).

Well she said something about airfare today, I told her I can't afford airfare right now. Mostly because of the trips we have upcoming, after Thanksgiving and for my son's bday at the end of January.

She said no problem, she would pay for airfare :) :)

So I might get my fix and get to go "home" for a few days :) :)

I think youse guys are confusing F&G with F&W. Cobbler will be there with her Mom in the Fall not in May. (unless you meant she should go in May as well, and if so of course that'd be uber cool).

BUT if you can't join us in May all is not lost! Jigger, Colorado and I will all be back for F&W in from 10/1-10/6 and are hoping to plan some Grand Gatherings for then too! (I am missing the one in May because I have other plans that night, boohoo).

So Cobbler I hope you'll try to book the first week of October and join the Boardwalk Babes for some fun and games (even if you're not staying at BWV). :cheerlead

F&G and F&W....since I'm lucky enough to go to both, I DID get them confused.
But Mar is also right that we'll all be back the first week of October (and praying that hurricanes are over in September).

Well I am going :) Just booked a studio at SSR for F/W. Oct 11-14. Hubby will stay behind with the kids.

She wanted to do Thurs, Fri, and Sat night and I had to say no. 53 points for a studio was not going to happen. So I could compromise and do 43 for a studio and stay Wed, Thurs and Fri night. Just a nice quick trip.

She is even going to pay for the airfare. So nice. She said something about making this a yearly thing - that would be fun.

But next year if we go we will go the first week in October to get the most out of my AP.
