:sherlock:

Looking for ideas on where we can have DS#2 nap on checkout day - our flight does not leave until well into the evening from MCO

It is out checkout day from AKL and looking for ideas on where he could nap there or other suggestions for other locations

He will be 2 3/4 - he still needs his noonish naps

Cheers

I have never used them with our kids, but if you are at a park, I would think that the Baby Centers would be a good spot.

Does he sleep in a stroller? Our daughter does, so that's how we handled our last day -- we did some loops around the Boardwalk for about an hour so she had a nice rest.

Good idea nono - no strollers for this kid! Even on our trip in Dec/Jan we could not even cajole him into a stroller - it is walking and my DH's shoulders - DH is a mountain hiker so he can take it :p

Baby center might work - have to investigate

Thanks for the replies - pixie dust for more ideas!

American Adventure is pretty good for little ones to take a nap.
Bummer about his not being able to nap in a stroller...my DD took 2 naps a day until she was 6, and stollers were perfect while we walked around in the parks (or the Boardwalk) Does the little guy swim? Maybe if you tire him out swimming and then let him fall asleep in the shade on a pool chair?????

He swims like a :goldfish: !!!

There is another good idea - one of us goes down to Uzima Pool with the kids whilst the other checks out etc. and sends the luggage down to Bell Hop Land

Good idea - he might nap in the shade on a pool chair

I'm not sure when you are going (how the weather will be), but my "beloved" BCV has some wonderful places to "hang" while the little ones are napping.

On our last day in December, the parks were SOOO crowded that we returned to BCV and sat on the shores of Crescent Lake. Our dd (almost 4) fed the ducks while we relaxed in the lounge chairs. It was WONDERFUL!!! There is also the solarium. The sofas are more like "daybeds", and you could stay there with the little one while dh and the older child went to Epcot.

But FWIW, I hit all of the baby care centers while I was nursing my dd....AK certainly has the best one. The nursing rooms in there had actual doors on them that locked. I would go in a room, sit in the rocking chair, turn off the lights, prop up my feet and get an amazing nap while my dd slept. We planned this while the rest of our group was watching the parade...it was GREAT!!

Thanks Beca - good idea on the BCV common areas - we can valet over at BWV and walk over there or find a quieter area at BWV as well

Love these boards :beatinghe
