Okay Mouse owners I am ready for your DHS suggestions! You have been extremely helpful so far. I have AK & WS hunts nearly completed.
For anyone who may be new to the sight we are planning to take a student group to WDW, and in order to help them get the most out of their time in the parks we intend to give them these little info sheets to fill out, for which they will earn rewards.
I would also like reward ideas; something other than the obvious Disney dollars.
I thought perhaps those water bottles w/fans attached, or maybe beach towels. Keep in mind we do not have a ton of $! :bugeyed:
We don't have a whole day @ DHS, we will be going to TL in the morning, and we have a Brown Derby Fantasmic package in the afternoon. So they won't have a lot of time here. Crowd levels are projected to be at 7.

Yeah I also thought of Disney dollars as a reward....but have come up with other ideas for you.
Don't forget about the $10 or less store....one is in DTD and one is located as a section in the Epcot store next to the lagoon but on the FW side before you start making the trek toward WS. Can pickup little discounted items there.
Also how about for a "special" prize, giving a limited edition pin that came out that week while you are there....You can check the upcoming pin releases on DIZPINS.com before you go and see if any special ones will be coming out. Most are still in the $8 to $12 range. My last 2 trips I was able to pickup the opening pins for Nemo the Musical and Nemo the ride as well as Groundhog day pins. Nice momemtos of the trip and not too expensive.
Also, go to the different WS pavillions and pickup some of that countries candy offerings...Like the Mars or Flake Bars in the UK (much different then the USA and really good), or in Japan they have freeze dried tiny crabs (and other oddities) that are considered a treat in that country.....and not very expensive.

The tough thing is trying to appeal to everyone.
I had thought of perhaps having a basket with a variety of items they could choose from. Maybe putting different things in on different days to keep it exciting.
What do you think of that?
Tiny freeze dried crabs :hahahaha: I will have to give that some thought!
I am sure my cat would like some! :kitty:

Hi 7Swans
How about the lanyards with the little clear pouch that will hold their park ticket/key to the world? They were about $5.. What is your price range....my guess is with all those kids you don't want to spend too much $ per prize.
Pressed pennies?
Mints in a Disney Tin?
The small hand fans with the WDW logo...they are cheaper than the spray bottle fans with the Mickey heads that do a poor job of blowing air, but they are cool to own. I like the lanyard w/ the ticket holder and pressed penny gift ideas as well. T-shirts, bobble head Mickey's and they run $20-$30 bucks each (might not even want to look at these), fat pens, Mickey ears, Mickey bars, non-le pins, mini-stuffed Mickey's and souvenir cups from any beverage stand.

I would head over to the discount Disney store at the outlets. There you can pick up mugs, pins, t-shirts etc for prices of $5.00 and less. This would help your budget a bit. I also think the idea of having a basket with a choice is a good option as someone might prefer a t-shirt or hat as opposed to a towel etc.
Good Luck

I recently read this somewhere (Mouseplanet maybe) and thought it was funny:
What original Mousekateer is referenced by a sight gag in the Great Muppet Movie (the attraction building, not in the movie itself)?
Answer: Annette Funicello (not sure on spelling). The sight gag is (literally) a net full of jello.
