I know I have heard about Quicksilver from Disney people but I see more than that for options.
Has anyone used Sunray Transportation, Top One Tours, AAA Limo or Tiffany?
Any input to share on any of these? Even Quicksilver, like what makes them so good?
It's only going to cost about $15-25 per person 1 way & round trip to use them rather than the Magical Express. I'm just thinking of all the time we can save by using them. Is it worth it?

I haven't used any of those car services, but I'm not sure they'll save much if any time. We usually rent a car or take ME - either choice takes us pretty darn close to the same amount of time to get to WDW. (I would think renting a car would be close to same time as a limo service - you still have to wait for your luggage) Heck - we've even sent our luggage on ME along with a few members of our party and while the rest of us picked up the rental car - and we arrived at the resort within a few minutes of each other. Others have had the same experience I believe. I think it *seems* like the car is faster (at least to me) but in reality, I think it's just that I'm busy the whole time instead of waiting or sitting in a bus doing nothing but wanting to be there already.

I agree - I don't think you'll save time renting a car or taking a car service. It has taken up to 45 minutes for luggage to come out for me, which would negate any time savings. We've only done ME 3 times, but each time, we've kicked back within 10 minutes from checking in at the counter.
Now, a car service might be worth it if you want a grocery stop; but even then, a shopping service like www.gardengrocer.com or www.wegoshop.com would get the items you needed for less money than the you'd pay for the car service - and you'ld be at the resort faster.
Now - a car service for return to the airport could be much preferred! I hate waiting for the ME bus, and getting there super early. You leave about 3 hours before your flight, and you need to be at the pick-up zone about 15 minutes before that. The return journey kills a half day easy.
That said, I heard some grumblings about Tiffany a couple of years ago - that was about the time Alleasrsnet switched to QuickSilver as a sponsor. In general, I would trust Allearsnet's judgment - also see what Mary Waring has to say on Mousesavers.

See our situation is getting to the resort with ME b/c our first reservations were booked through the scrapbooking people. I emailed them about it but haven't heard back from them yet. But I don't see why we wouldn't be able tot get there with ME. They have the just about the entire YC booked for this and we only have our confermation # saying we are in for the convention not our Disney Resort # so I can't book it myself. I tried.
But I think your right about the car ride back! After thinking about all you both said...waiting for the lugguage isn't my favorite thing! But I haven't flown in forever...DH drives.
So I think as soon as she gets back to us so I can book the ME, we'll stick with the car service driving us back. QuickSilver I guess is who we should choose though.
I hate sitting there waiting forever as other planes come and go.
Thanks,

We've useed Sunray for our last 4-5 trips. They're great--professional, polite, on time. If you mention themouseforless.com, where they're a sponsor, you get an $8 discount on the website price.
We used Quicksilver once, prior to hearing about Sunray. I wasn't impressed. The driver wasn't very friendly, didn't help with our bags, and talked on his cell phone the entire trip as he zipped in and out of traffic.

We have used Orlando Transportation http://www.transportation2disney.com/ I guess about 4 times now and have not been disappointed, friendly, professional and yes helpful. They’ll stop at the store and let you grab your food and drink supplies on the way to the resort and will pick you up in time for your flight.

I think we're all for using the car service. This way we don't have to leave so early for the returning flight. And sense we are we figure to just use it both ways.
Last time Mom used ME the driver actaully got pulled over and she almost missed our ADR that were 4 1/2 hours after her flight landed! They were on the side of the highway for quite some time. She was glad our room wasn't that far away from the main building and didn't need to wait for someone to help her with her luggage or she would have missed dinner.

There is no guarantee that ME or car service or rental car is going to be quicker. What you should be considering is whether or not you ever plan to want to leave the property. Do you want to go to Sea World or Universal or even to the store or possibly a quick trip to Walgreens for a prescription that was forgotten. These are all reasons why people still rent cars instead of Magical Express. We used it once and our return flight was so early in the morning they wanted us downstairs at 4 am. Now when we take the 7 am flight we leave for the airport at 5:30 am promptly not 4. But good luck with whatever you decide.

We are of the "early to the airport" mentality. Every week, I deal with someone in the biz world that missed a flight... this week one of my employees missed it by 24 seconds (according to him). Totally silly.
I travel a lot, and I just bite the bullet and buy a membership to the red carpet club every year. I get to the airport early (min of 2 hours). I never worry about missing a flight, the lounge is comfortable... there are snacks and drinks... power and internet connections. I am as comfortable there as I would be at home or certainly at the hotel. I can also be productive if I am working. To me... it makes the entire travel experience more comfortable.
