Day 2 with the UG... :catchingz: we slept in a bit. Check out the crowds at DHS.

We missed out on the big attractions--Tower of Terror and Rock'n Roll Rollercoaster. :crymeariv But we still did the backlot tour, Star Tours (once with our own FPs and once with FPs someone gave us :bouncingp), Muppetvision, the Lights Motor Action show and Fantasmic.

Mama Melrose's was the ADR and I'd read about the Glow-tini, so of course had to have one!

It was no CG, but we weren't expecting a Signature experience here. Food was good, service was good. I think the waiter was a bit too ingratiating for DBIL's tastes, but I thought it was fun.

We knew we couldn't fight the crowds, so we just went with it, and enjoyed a more leisurely day. DSs were wondering how Disney would pull off a laser light show out-of-doors. I hadn't thought about the mechanics of it, but it was simply brilliant.

Tomorrow's fun? Epcot! (Wow its a long bus ride from SSR.)

WOW --- look at that crowd! Puts a new perspective on DHS - I've never seen it that crowded except during Christmas for the Osborne lights - and that was limited to the light show area.

That was March 25...is that the day Epcot had a bit of a power outage? Maybe that explains the crowd?

We also vacationed during that time period. I have never seen the crowds so bad at DHS. There was actually "space" in this picture. When the fantasmic show was over there was literally no empty space anywhere...can you say claustrophobia?? Thank goodness for EMH that week!
