We want to stay at Vero Beach in late-April, 2009, after Spring Breaks. We do not have Vero Beach points. How difficult is it to get a studio or Beach View Room with only a 7 month window?:dog:

It might be difficult to get something at spring break. But if you get something at your home resort for that time, you might be able to switch at 7 months if you call day by day.

I was not clear....we are NOT going to Vero Beach during spring break. The school holidays will not occur while we are there.

HI - I just gt my parent's magazine today. One of the cover stories was the Ten Top Beach Vacations for families - and Disney Vero Beach was there. I imagine that kind of coverage will only make it more difficult to get in.

It looks like April is composed of all Magic season for April 2009 -- the second most expensive point configuration. I'm guessing this will factor in to demand.

I think you will be ok - we have found it is the Beach Cottages and 1BR's that tend to go fast and at 7 months you should have studio/ocean view inn room choice

I agree with Jaysue. You should be OK if you want an OVIR (Ocean view inn room) since there are many of them.
I would still consider the week April 20-24 still 'spring break' time. Many NE schools have this week off. If you are going after that you will have no problem.

We went to Vero for Spring Break this year. We do not own at VB and I made my res as soon as I could. We got an Inn room, Garden view. They had beach view available for some of our dates, but not all. Since it is not Spring Break, I think you will be fine.

Hi just curious what this is? Is it a Disney beach resort on Vero Beach? Never been to Vero, but heard it was very nice.

It is a Disney resort on the beach near Sebastian (north of Vero Beach) on A1A just south of 510. It is a nice resort and Vero Beach has some very nice attractions
