Well, I'm out of points for 2006 and almost all of 2007 already so I have to wait for the AP codes! Right now, I have POFQ reserved w/ AAA rate for our SWW trip in May. Can MS check AP codes too?

I thought I would call them to see how much of a difference it would be to get a studio with a cash ressie w/ DVC discount vs AP rates at a DVC or other Disney resort? (If/when the codes come out)

Thanks!

Sounds like you are in need of an add-on, and in a big way.

I don't think that MS can get into the main reservations system at all; this would mean they can't get AAA or AP rates.

Perhaps it would be a better deal to either add-on, or get yourself a decent sized points transfer. Wouldn't you rather stay at OKW or SSR than one of the Mods? (tho I really do like POFQ, esp the cool dragon pool)

It is cheaper to stay at a Mod over a weekend for Star Wars Weekends than to rent points. Now, it might certainly be better in the long run to put that money towards BUYING more points, but those long weekend trips are a killer on points!

ACtually, it is easiest for you to check them yourself on the passholder site. They are somewhat limited right now. If you call the main number, they can give you the up to the minute news, but MS dosn't have that information, nor can they make the ressie for you.

Oh thanks Diane,
I forgot about the passholder site and I'm gonna need something for a Sat nite in late April. Last time I had a need (mousefest) I didn't have my pass in hand nor even the other thing (mind fart) so I couldn't .

Thanks!

Thanks.

We just did an add-on a few months ago for 50 points....we thought 260 would be enough LOL It's this "mooching" extended family of mine that's killing us ;) We got to stop booking those 2 BR at BCV for a week with them! But I can't complain too much....when Dad goes he pays for almost all our meals!

Although it's not a fast option. I booked an AP rate through Dreams Unlimited, because I had not purchased my AP yet, so I couldn't get in to the AP website. I'll have my AP when we arrive at POR for the night. Just staying the Friday night before we check in to VWL on Sat.
