I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested, but I finally was able to go a couple of weeks back. I was very excited to finally be able to do so!

Cool pictures! I was lucky enough to get to dine at Club 33 one time in the early 1990's. I had a friend who was a member. It was fun!

I wonder why there is no Club 33 in WDW.

One of my 'things to do before I die' is to dine at Club 33. I bought a club 33 pin on ebay, so I'm ready. I remember that I have a friend who's company is a member and she told me that if I ever wanted to go that she could arrange it: but dang my poor memory because I cannot remember who that friend is. Sigh, it's tuff getting old!!!!

Now I want to go on the Lilly Belle too!

When I built my victorian home back in the early 1980's, I recall we spent a lot of time at the world, videotaping different Victorian moldings and such to help us in the design phase. But independently of anything we actually saw at Disney, I ended up with the same wallpaper in my powder room and entry as we later saw at Disney, the same light fixtures, and now, after seeing the Lilly Belle photos...the same table!

The Club 33 photos gave me a great idea for my baby Grand piano...My daughter painted it white for me one Xmas present (it sits in my greenhouse and gets way too much sun which bleached out the walnut. Tho I hate to paint wood, it was the right thing to do.) Anyhow...I now want to get the inside of the top painted....impressionistic lke the one at Club 33, but maybe with a Disney scene...and of course there will have to be a hidden mickey!!!
I'm excited!!!!

I was also excited to see the can-can girls from the Golden Horseshoe Revue...I've never quite gotten over the closure of the GHR, it was one of my favorite things to do at the world...I LOVED the can can costumes and must have thought, at one time, that it would be my dream job at Disney!

So thanks again, Debbie, for giving me a nostalgia trip and for your wonderful detail in your photography!:loveisint

Belle -

That is really neat about all the items in your home! I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures - I had a GREAT time at Club 33 and am looking forward to going back someday. What a great idea to have a Disney scene painted on your piano!!!

It was very cool to have the can-can girls at the GHS event - it was a spectacular evening.

I had lunch this time (but have been offered to go for dinner this year, we'll see if I head out there again!)

And thank you. :) I had done the Lilly Belle before, it is occasionally part of the Walk in Walts Footsteps tour. It's really a neat experience!

"Walk in Walt`s Footsteps".....Now that is one tour... I would LOVE to take !!
DLR is very nostalgic for me ...we have relatives in LA.....It was my first Disney Experience....setting the stage for the magic I hold in my heart ...:beatinghe
When WDW came ....it was just a vast HUGE extension of my feelings for "All things Disney"....and there is where ...we introduced our 2 DS`s to "Uncle Walt`s world" when they were very small....nowadays Im setting the stage for introducing our first "Princess DGD" to her "Gam-ma`s Passion "...LOL...
Dinner at Club 33 Denise...Now that sounds like an offer that would be hard to Refuse !! ;)
Again ...thank you for sharing your experiences with us !! :blueflowe

That was amazing!!!!!! I have been to DL a jillion times, but I don't know anybody personally who can get me into Club 33. I am insanely jealous! Of course seeing the Billys is always a treat!

Definitely a day to remeber.
