Holding Points

I have 21 points in holding that amust be used by Aug 31, 2006. I also have more than one contract and membership no. I have been told by MS that I can transfer these holding points from my one contract to the other.

I remember reading in the past that when a transfer is made that the "system" does not know what Use Year they actually are in. So, is it possible I could transfer them to myself and have them in the next year, not to expire before Aug 31, 2007?

I recently transferred holding points. In my case the expiration changed from the owner's UY to my UY, but the holding status and restrictions remained intact, YMMV!
