We did it!!

My DH and I took the plunge and purchased 160 points @Saratoga. Use year Oct, so we got 2007 points, the incentive of $10 off per point and the $500 gift card. We used our Disney Visa, so will get the points on that for (read that suggestion on this board)

We are very pleased with our purchase and already have our 1st reservation on hold for first week of Dec - can't wait to go back.

My guide tells me he will have my membership number by Tuesday.

How long does it usually take to get all of you membership paperwork?

How exciting, I'm glad to see that you're already planning your first trip to hear "Welcome Home", I'm sure December won't come quick enough for your family.

As far as getting your packet, Disney is fairly quick at getting the packet out, but it may take about a month or so. In the mean time, once you get your membership number, log into the DVC members web site. There is plenty of information to be had there.

The anticipation of that 1st trip is a killer but Mouseowners certainly helps the pass the time. We are approaching a year as owners and we still get excited when anything with a DVC logo shows up in the mail!

I have to admit that the nervousness I felt when we were deciding to buy quickly went away after the decision was made and the credit card number was given!!!

I'm already planning December - looking at some of the trip reports on the board makes me anxious to go (even though I just got back a week ago!!)

This board is great and am looking forward to get on the official DVC website.
