What do the Symbols Mean

the little symbols next to your screen name that look like parcheesi pieces, some are blue and some are red. What do they signify?

I saw a thread that shows all abbreviations, is there another thread that explains symbols and stuff to newbies?

I think that if it is blue you are logged on and if red you aren't.

I think that if it is blue you are logged on and if red you aren't.So it doesn't indicate Red States or Blue States? Or Boys and Girls? Hmmm; I suppose on-line and off-line makes some sense, but what's the fun in that?
