Night time parade at MK. Is it still around?

I can't exactly remember the name but I do remember the parade. Happened every night before the fireworks. We are 4 months out from taking the kids on their first trip and I wanted to know if this was something they would be able to experience.

I'm sure you're referring to Spectromagic and it is still performed. However, I am not sure if it'll be playing nightly during your time period. I think even during the summer, it only plays 3 or 4 nights a week.

I love Spectromagic, it is my favorite parade. But LC is right, they do not have it every night. Check the schedule, I am sure the hours for that time are out already.

It, Spectromagic, is a great parade and I feel sure you will be able to see it during that time frame! We were there in July last year and I believe it did play nightly. If there is any question, just make sure you get a times guide right away. There is a table right inside by the door at the Hospitality House at OKW where you should be able to pick up a guide for all the parades and nighttime shows so that you will know the times of each:goodvibes

I want to add that at one point Spectromagic was on hiatus and they had the Main Street Electrical Parade (MSEP) instead. So depending on when you went it might have been either parade that you saw. IMHO Spectro is a lot more thrilling than the MSEP.

I adore Spectromagic, a trip to WDW is not complete for me unless I have seen it. The lights, the music, it's awesome. Although most everyone here is correct that spectromagic does not run every night most of the time, it does during some busy times. When I looked at the June calendar (since you said it is 4 months to your trip) for the weeks of June 4th (and also the week of June 11) Spectromagic is running every night, sometimes twice a night. If your kids are old enough not to crash and burn, when the parade runs twice the later showing is always less crowded. Here's the calendar for June if you'd like to see the times for yourself. This place is great! You guys have all the answers. I believe SpectroMagic was the parade we saw but now that you mention the Main Street Electrical Parade that sounds familar too. My wife and I last saw whichever one on our honeymoon in 94. Needless to say either one would blow our 6 and 3yo's minds. We will be down there the week of the 4th so that will give us plenty of options if they are showing it nightly (twice even which was the way it was in 94). Thanks again all!
