Disney profit up on parks, strikes radio deal

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Walt Disney Co. (NYSE:DIS - news) on Monday posted a 7 percent rise in first-quarter profit as revenue from the new Hong Kong Disneyland theme park and the 50th Anniversary promotion of the original Disneyland made up for movie studio softness.

I am pretty sure that my family contributed to that strong quarter. On our last trip (Oct) they just vacuumed out my wallet, I think. What with the APs to use up and the DDE card burning a hole in my pocket we went to WDW and "saved" lots of money ;)
