Hello! I have finally decided that in 30 odd days we might have our first evening event as a dinner out.. preferably a character dinner and preferably not in a park... (we don't all arrive until about 3:30 pm that day.)

are there any available - and do you think i can get an ADR at this late date?

if not, that's cool... i'll sit on my verandah!!! Yuengling may be my beverage of choice on this trip!! My college-age niece is coming to WDW for the first time EVER and I want to make sure she has a good time!!

thanks for any info!

How about Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary? We like it very much, and it is lots of fun.

I don't think you'll have too difficult of a time. you just might not get the times you want. It also depends on the size of your group.

for hotel character meals, you'd have Chef Mickey's at Contemporary, 1900 Park Faire at the Grand. I'm not sure if Cape May and O'hanas are character meals at night.

I know this is a totally non character meal option but, why not do something at DTD? I assume you'll be staying at OKW. You could take a relaxing boat ride to DTD and have dinner at Raglan Road, etc.

Cape May is a Clambake - no characters there (other than other guests :D )

the only characters are the guests.. har har!! when we bring uncle andy along we are definitely the characters.

We have settled on 1900 Park Faire - that was a good suggestion. It will show my niece a little of the area before WHAM - we hit her with MK the next day!

We really enjoyed 1900 Park Fare. Everything was very tasty, it just took Cinderella awhile to get to us.
