"Track sea turtles in Vero Beach

Disney's Vero Beach Resort Members and Guests can learn about endangered sea turtles from conservation experts this summer.

The Caribbean Conservation Corporation, the world's oldest non-profit sea turtle research and conservation group, will conduct special presentations and sea turtle walks at the nearby Archie Carr Wildlife Refuge, located 10 miles north of Disney's Vero Beach Resort.

As part of the experience, participants donate $20 for the first family member and $10 for each additional family member to "adopt" sea turtles. (Of course, this simply means participants will be able to track the turtles' progress. Nobody's taking the critters home.)

To pre-book this experience, available on Monday evenings in June and July, call the Caribbean Conservation Corporation at (800) 678-7853. Space is limited, so planning ahead is strongly encouraged."

This is certainly an activity that members who are staying at VB this July and August might very well consider! Sounds kinda cool! :)
