The Yuengling thread got me thinking...what bars or restaurants in the World serve beer that is other than Bud, Miller, Coors, etc.?
I know of two:
Territory Lounge at WL--Red Hook ESB on tap
Big River Grille

ESPN has an extensive beer menu, I think.
Also, United Kingdom has Guinness, Harp, Bass.
Germany has German bier which I am drawing a complete blank on the name right now! (GUess I had too many last time!)
Japan has Kirin, I think.
I forgot where it was but we found our local microbrew in Disney once! (Blue Point Ale)
I'll have to ask DH when we wakes up later...he has a better beer memory than me :burp:
*** Editted to add: Lowenbrau! That's the German one

I think Germany has a wide selection of beer. I'm pretty certain I got a Heiniken there once at a bar in the pavilion courtyard. I'm not a big drinker, but Heiniken is my beverage of choice. So I'm pretty certain that's what I walked away with.

I thought I remembered Heinekin too at Germany. After checking Deb's site, I found Germany has Lowenbrau, Optimator, Franziskaner, Dinkel Acker Dark, Becks.
I do remember that on our last trip they didn't have the beer DH usually got in Germany and he like Heinekin also. Maybe they switched to Lowenbrau?
I'm almost tempted to wake him up to ask but he'd kill me LOL (He works nights)

I completely forgot about Germany. They had a hefeweizen on tap the last time I was there.
Flying Fish used to have one of my local microbrews (coincidentally, the brewery is called Flying Fish, in Cherry Hill, NJ) but didn't have it on our two most recent meals there.

I know that Le Cellier has the world's best beer on tap - Moosehead. They also had a stand outside during F&W.

Coral Reef also has some variety. They have a nice Amber Reef beer there that fits the theme of the restaurant nicely.

Isn't there a listing on Allears? I thought that was an all-encompassing site. Maybe someone should pose that question to them.
Do they provide funding grants for projects to answer such important questions? I'm available :hyper: :ale:  :ale:

Norway's beer is great... but it's not Norwegian - it is Scandanavian though.. it's yummy.
I usually get Boddington's at the Rose and Crown.. the head on that beer is so so delicious!

I almost did cartwheels when I saw that one of my local grocery stores started to carry Boddington's. =)
