First, please read the Posting Guidelines located HERE (http://www.mouseowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4016).
Second, why not make this process easier both on yourself and on the renter? How do you do that? Here is a BIG TIP:
THREAD TITLES
Put EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT in the title of your thread. Make it easy for renters to be able to identify and help you!! In other words, put the following in your thread title:
1. The DVC Resort(s) you're interested in
2. The size accommodation you desire
3. The dates you wish to travel
Having said that, here are a couple of examples of better thread titles:
1. Wanted: 2BR BWV, Nov. 11 - 15
2. Wanted: 1 Wk in any DVC Studio, last two weeks in July
3. Wanted: AKV or OKW 1BR, Dec 1 - 8
In other words, the more specific you make your thread title, the better.
In contrast, these are examples of HORRIBLE thread titles:
1. Reservation Needed
2. [Your username]
3. Please help!
4. Reservation wanted for Christmas (for July, November, etc.)
5. Need points!
6. Something similarly idiotic, such as "First Ad!"
I'm sure you get the drift.
Help renters help you!
P.S. -- People who actually post threads with "Horrible Titles" like those noted above WILL HAVE THEM DELETED for sheer lunkheadedness and lack of common sense. Yes, I'm serious.
CHANGING THREAD TITLES
If you discover that you need to change some aspect of your request and thus, change the thread title, you may do so in the following manner:
To change your thread title, you must edit your original post in the following way:
1. Click "edit"
2. Click "Go advanced"
3. You are then given the option of doing many things with the post, including changing the thread title
4. Change the thread title in whatever way you desire
5. Click "Save"
That's it.
Finally, keep these particular guidelines in mind:

Remember that posts will automatically be deleted after two weeks of inactivity. In order to keep your ad active, you must “bump” it to prevent it from being deleted.
If you do not receive a reply to your thread/post, DO NOT post another thread. Simply bump your old thread. Repeated thread/posts that ask for the same thing time after time will ALL BE DELETED, and your account and posting privileges will be placed in jeopardy.
