BWV or SSR in Nov.

We are planning to make a trip with my extended family in early november. We are hoping to purchase a resale at eithter SSR or BWV and will use those points for the trip. Is it unrealistic to expect to be able to reserve 3 studios at either of those resorts for that time assuming we would be able to get a contract soon and have everything done and be able to make reservations before the 7month window opens up? We definately need to have 3 separate rooms and wont have enought points for a villa.

Well SSR has the overall larger inventory, so you have that going for ya...when in particular are you planning to travel in Nov.? Are you heading there for Thanksgiving?

No we were planning to go the first full week in november. This has been a slower time in general but I heard that is did get busy that time last year

F&FW, nuff said. BWV may be out of the question.

I'm guessing you'll get something, especially if you're willing to be at SSR or OKW, but I agree that you'd have a really hard time getting BWV during the Food and Wine Festival. Both that and BCV book up really quick then because they are so convenient to it.

You'll have a tough time getting 3 studios at BWV that time of year even if you own there. The soonest you could close on a BWV resale is about 60 days from now. That puts about 8 months out from your travel dates. Even though it's within the 7 month window, you may well find that your fellow BWV owners have already gobbled-up all of the studios.

As for SSR, I doubt you will have trouble getting your rooms there. SSR has about 50% more Studio rooms than BWV, and it's a bit further from the action of the F&W fest.

SSR and OKW will be easy. You could try VWL but that may be difficult as well.
