Three of us have to leave OKW ridiculously early on our last day. The remaining folks will keep the van and return that later. What are our transportation options? (8:05 AM flight)

I really don't want to wake up DH and have him drive us to the airport.

You could:
Take DME for free.
Take a cab from the resort, it's about $50
Take a town car, which will also cost about $50.
Hitchhike (not recommended :D )

If it was me and I wasn't using DME I would set up in advance for a town car to pick me up. Since the cost of a cab is the same, why not go for a nice comfy towncar instead? I use and highly recommend Tiffany Towncars http://www.tiffanytowncars.com/ (http://www.tiffanytowncars.com/)

There are many other towncar companies, but I have nothing but terrific service from Tiffany. They are helpful, friendly, and never ONCE in over 15 round trips have they been late picking me up.

Oh almost forgot one more optoin: if Rash is there perhaps you'd prefer to go on horseback?

...are in this order:
town car
cab
horseback
hitchiking
dme

I worry that DME would make us get up REALLY early... I think I will go Tiffany - the girls would get a big kick out of that!!

thanks!

Agreed re DME-and you'll have a lot of time to kill at the airport as well. One of the main reasons I never used that service.

But, if they took a town car, wouldn't the pick up time be almost as early as with DME? DME usually picks up around 3 hours before. Don't town cars usually pick up 2.5 hours before a flight?

Town cars pick you up when you tell them to get there, youre paying them so your decision is the final word. I have my car pick me up an hour and a half before my flight, i get to the airport with an hour to go and have never once even come close to missing my flight. So that's an hour and a half more WDW time for me compared to DME. :beaniepro

Ah, good to know that. I'll have to remember that for A) When DME is no longer free and B) if I don't rent a car.
I usually end up renting a car so I can go up to Gainesville and visit my great aunt and cousins up there.
