There are links to seevn parts. I'd link, but don't think it would work on the password protected site. If anyone's seen it, let me know how it is.

I tried it just now and got a message saying the page was not currently available. Anyone else try and have better luck?
I did see the channel last week when I was at BWV. Wasn't anything that great, just some ideas on planning WDW vacations. I think for newbies it might help, but for most "veterans" it's nothing new.

I did ok (just started it couldn't watch for real, but it says you need broadband, so I can't do it from home.
I've been trying as well.
But our problems are probably related to our DSL connection.
I was so happy to get DSL this past fall. Well, its driving me crazy, I'm tempted to break out the dial-up modem again. It was slow, but it worked, everytime!

I was dial up for a long time. Then our development fabricated its own DSL system that was really awesome. The guy who started it is a patent lawyer. Anyway...his partner just quit on him Jan 4, so he is up to his ears and had to stop volunteering his time for the Coop. It is pau in two weeks.
So I found a good deal on Comcast cable (19.99 for 6 months) and I paid to have them come up and install a dedicated cable for the computer and then hooked it up to my own wireless router and VOIP. It's actually faster than DSL...but of course, now if electricity OR cable goes out, my computer and phone are down.

We just got DSL about a month ago from CenturyTel, our phone carrier. We love it! We waited a LONG time for this. Our only other optiions were dialup (slow) or satellite (too expensive - and pretty slow). We opted for the fastest speed they have, and we've been zipping along ever since. AND we got a wireless LinkSys router. We can carry the laptops out on the deck! Both online at the same time. Works like a charm.
I haven't had trouble accessing any sites. I'll have to go check out the "secret" stuff.
EDITED: Just checked it out. No problem. It's well done, too.

Thanks for the heads-up. Worked fine for me...too good...I'm ready to add on again LOL
I also finally got to see what my guide looks like! We've never actually seen him in person. We asked a million questions, bought our initial contract with him in 2002, did our add-on with him almost a year ago...all over the phone. Nice guy and he was exactly what I pictured him looking like in my mind! :o

Just watched all 7. They are about 5 minutes long, so if you ahve 35 minutes to kill - it's fun. They are well made - but I think they should have shown more of the resorts.... They showed them - but not as much as I wanted to see! I was suprised they mentioned the Member Getaways so much - since they aren't the best use of points - you'd think they'd focus more on the 7 home resorts.
Lots of repeat info - but that's only for us! Anyone new to the info I'm sure would find it useful.

They seem to be focusing on the Member Getaways alot recently. When we were on the DCL in April we attended the DVC Get together. They seemed to spend most of the time "pushing" the different places outside Disney you can use your points. I was pretty surprised....I thought they would be trying harder to get more SSR add-ons....not that they didn't but they only spent about 5 mins on SSR and about 20-25 on the Member Getaways.

...I was suprised they mentioned the Member Getaways so much - since they aren't the best use of points - you'd think they'd focus more on the 7 home resorts...I think the presentation is for folks who are not yet members, so I expect that management thinks that focusing on the non-Disney options will sell better to most people. Perhaps some focus group of potential customers came out with something like "well DVC looks great, but I'm not sure I want to be locked into vacationing at WDW every year". The Member Getaways are easy to explain (tho not nearly as easy to actually do, of course), while the bank & borrow and come every third year idea is perhaps a harder sell (but a better deal all-around).
Of course, those of us who haunt Disney and WDW related bulletin boards (my wife thinks that this whole thing is a Cult) are a bit partial to WDW and Disney related stuff anyway, so for us emphasising the great on-site (and VB & HH) accommodations is the better sell. For normal human beings, that may not be the best way to get them to sign on the dotted line.
As for the show, I'll review the rest of it in two weeks' time at VB or BWV.:sunny: :Pinkflami

Cult? Who us?
Here, have another glass of juice...

Are these the same "secrets revealed" that play on the DVC channel on the WDW resort TV's?

I watched all 7 parts today. It is the same show I saw in December, but I only saw odds and ends of it then.
It was nice to see the whole thing.
And it does focus a lot on non DVC things.

Yeah - I figure that is the logic..... It's sort of a shame though - as more info on VB and HHI could really interest the same people.... I know when we were first looking the other locations were initially something my DH was interested in - but once we crunched the #'s we knew we'd probably only use it for one of the 7.
