This happened during our Holiday visit in Dec 2006. Between Christmas & New Years Day.
It was mid morning and I was at BCV Marketplace with my 2 DS's and we had purchased our breakfast items and settled in to one of the taller tables in the seating area of the Marketplace to enjoy our food.
About 5 minutes into our meal, a woman and her 3 kids come into the MP, and sit at one of the shorter (normal height) tables. Mom gets the kids settled and starts to help herself to the food available.
She grabs cereals, fruit, juices & milk from the coolers and brings everything back to the table and serves the kids. She then makes her way over to the coffee bar and looks for cups to pour herself a cup of coffee. After not being able to locate a cup, she asks one of the CM's that is cleaning the area where the cups are and is directed towards the register (the place to buy the cup.) She is surprised that she has to pay for the cup and voices her concern to the CM. She felt that the breakfast was part of her room cost and started to demand a cup be given to her.
The CM attempts to explain the "right" way that breakfast works at the Marketplace and then the Manager makes his way over.
Although I am not sure, I did not see the Mom make any reference to her kids eating at the table and did walk over to a register with the Manager to purchase a cup for the coffee, but I don't think she paid for the other items her kids had by that point finished eating.
By this time I was beside myself with shock and awe and we just finished our meal and left the MarketPlace.
Can you believe what some people will do!!!
