We are renting a car for our trip this week and I have a question about the handicap parking at the parks. The last time we went with my parents we didn't rent a car and dad was doing better than he is now. We will definately need to use the handicap lot and may have to rent an ECV for him. So, now for the question...
Is the handicap parking area easy to find at the parks?
Thanks. See you when we get back.

Yes - it's easy. There's usually a colored line you follow from the entry plaza - can't remember. Maybe green? They'll tell you what to do when you pass through the plaza. Not hard at all. AAA reserved parking is usually right next to it.
Without an ECV or wheel chair, I wouldn't use it because the trams don't stop by the handicapped spots usually - but with an ECV, it should be a breeze.

I think the line is blue. I brought my grama here in 2003 and she has a h/c placard (she has Parkinsons). I rented an ECV for her from Walker and was able to take it apart, put it in the car, drive to a park (parking in the H/C area), put it together and then go in. She did so well with the ECV that she bought one when she went home.
Enjoy!
