Planning on a pool hop to a moderate on the March trip whilst staying at DVC on DVC points  - looking to move DS#2 up to the next level from the SSR kiddie slide/Blizzard Beach Tike's Peak slides
Let me know which one you think is best
Cheers

The slide at POFQ looks like it would fit the "next step up" criteria. My son (6) didn't want to do the big slide at SAB, and the little slide was too small. When I saw the POFQ slide, I thought it would be perfect for him.
The POFQ pool theme is pretty neat, too.

I would say FQ as well.

The FQ slide is fun but gentle. I am a total chicken -- I still have
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder form my one (an only!) trip down the evil clown slide at Boardwalk... The FQ slide is OK even for me!
Coronado's slide is also a fun one. Longer and a litttle faster than FQ but still not scary. Easy to go sitting up. No high drops that you can see over to (I am terrified of heights).
My kids loved Riverside's slide and it looks fairly slow, too.
Have fun!

Both the slides at PO are quite gentle....but POFQ is really the best for anyone who is tentative. It slides quite slowly and the water depth is perfect for some of the younger dare-devils :). My super chicken 6 year old won't go on ANY slides at WDW but she did manage this one!!!!

Isn't it fun to share new things with the kiddos when they are little? My kids still remember the first trip to Typhoon Lagoon. Grammy got knocked on her back in the wave pool and was sort of "beached" for a bit... We still all laugh hysterically (Grammy included) when we remember that! All those "firsts" at Disney are so special :)
