And codes are starting to be extended into next year. I was able to lower my January rental from $153.29 for a compact with Dollar to a mid-size with Alamo for $131.56 (using the Wal-Mart code). For some reason the compact with Alamo was more expensive.

I tried a bunch of these codes in combination the other day and ours ended up a bit more expensive. Thanks for posting them, though. Looks like I may have already gotten the best deal for my trip. I'll keep trying, though, you just never know!

Keep checking your rentals. I now have a compact in January for a week, and the price is $119.09. This uses the Wal-Mart code and the $25.00 e-coupon I noted above.
