I guess it's harking back to the days of the ladies undergarment store on Disneyland's Main Street?

So will the Hanes commercial jingle be replacing the Aerosmith Soundtrack?

hey I think it is a win - win for everyone.

Disney gets another sponsor. Hanes gets some great advertisement.

we (guests at WDW or DL) get some nicer clothes.

don't like the T-shirt, or even the golf shirts they fall apart before they wear out.

I don't think the Hanes brand would allow that to happen.

I've had reasonable luck with Disney polos and Ts (but I've been very choosey), but not so much on the sweatshirts. I thought this would lead to better products, too. I just don't know how I feel about "Disneyland Resort brought to you by Hanes" part on the labels.

Still, a Hanes branding for RnRC? "Clean underwear for those who need at after your first ride!"

Does this mean that each of the limos in R n R will have bras?

on all my golf shirts (disney polos) - the thread comes out before the shirt wears out.

not just on one or two - but all of them.

only buy Mickey's - or DVC resort ones. have the problems with each and every one.

the thread dissolves.... that is not surpose to happen.

Sounds like better products are on the way. My sweatshirt cuffs tend to dissolve before anything else goes bad.

Was this Stan Lee's idea? He used to refer to superheroes as the long underwear crowd, now a Hanes deal.........:scratchch .
Maybe that deal they made with him is paying off.:upsidedow

Rats. You guys have already used all the good jokes. I suppose I could do something with "Dude Looks Like a Lady", but we'll leave that for the Hanes commercials.

Yep that's my issue with Disney Clothing too. I have some perfectly good sweatshirts and hoodies that have threadbare cuffs. What's the deal with that?:idontgeti

Hanes is a great product - this should be a plus.

A few years ago, I bought a matching bra & panty set w/MM all over them. I would love some more of these.....

as far as polos & ts go, I have purchased plenty over the years (esp. the past 11) and not had a problem...

I'm looking forward to higher quality outerwear. Not looking forward to purchasing it, but I will have more confidence in the Hanes brand. IWe also have not had good luck with Mickey clothes..

They must sell different Hanes brand stuff in you folks' neck of the woods. Around here, the stuff is pretty much bottom of the barrel as far as name brand stuff goes. :scary:

My colleague refuses to eat Sara Lee products ever since we were in Winston Salem, NC and drove past the Sara Lee cake/Hanes underwear factory several times.....

He thinks that baking cakes and making underwear don't mix - and I tend to agree with him! :veryconfu

Yes, if WDW clothing is made with Hanes products they would stand up much better than what it is made of today.

I can't stand it when I spend $75+ for a WDW sweatshirt and have it shrink on the first wash & dry!

Well, I'll hope for the best. It seems the same as Fruit of the Loom and the rest to me. Admittedly, the last time I bought anything from those brands was 5 or more years ago.

I was looking for references before I posted, but there was a store on Disneyland's Main Street that sold women's underwear. It was called "Wizard of Bras' and was styled as a corset shop or something from the 19th c. It apparently didn't last long, though! (Sorry, Viking.)

Here's the best link I could find:

The thought of Steven Tyler dancing around the recording studio in his Tighty Whities while leaning on the microphone stand and yelling into the mic is a bit scary...

LIV TYLER, however...:wearenumb

Every time I go on that ride, I personally thank Steven Tyler for Liv.
