For football fans (blonde joke)

Since it's football season, I thought this might be an appropriate time to post this. (No offense to anyone) I, however, did not write this - my mom found it in a local paper.

A guy takes his friend to her first football game. They have great seats right behind their teams bench.

After the game, he asks her if she liked it. "Oh, I really liked it," she replies, "but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents."

Confused, the blonde's date asks, "What do you mean?"

"Well", says the blonde, "they flipped a coin at the beginning, one team got it, and then the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was: "Get the quarterback! Get the Quarterback!"

I'm like, hellooooooo? It's only 25 cents.

I know it's kinda corny, but I thought it was cute! :rolleyes:

Unfortunately, the article in the paper was not intended to be a joke, but rather a commentary on the failings of the public school system. If coach & athletic director salaries were increased to college level standards, the student body would not need to watch ESPN in order to receive a proper education.
