Ok, I see that B&C is rated as table service for the DDP.
What would be considered an "appetizer" at B&C? WOuld soup classify? What else?
I can't figure out if we should just pay cash to go get our B&C fix, or use TS from the dining plan.... :help:

They are supposed to have great onion rings that are $4.00. I would assume this to be an appetizer. I think I would look at past meals cost at B&C for your family to decide if it is worth it:teacher:

I looked at past meals - and from the "dessert" stnadpoint you come out ahead at B&C (because the sundaes count and they are 7-8 bucks). I was thinking of only using 2 or 3 adult TS for our meal there. If soup counts as an "appetizer" my dd would be thrilled with that. She and I could split a sandwich and the soup. But they may consider soup as an entree - hard to tell. I was also thinking that 2 No Way Joses would be MORE than ample (can't imagine all 5 of us getting one - yikes!)
The kids' meals just are not a good deal on the DDP at B&C so I thought I would save those for somewhere like Le Cellier where they would get more utility.
Unfortunately, DH doesn't like onion rings (I love them, and in fact had them at B&C last trip... but I'm the ONLY one in my family that eats 'em! Oh well!)

Soup is not something I'm used to seeing on an appetizer menu, it usually falls under the Soup & Salad portion. However, a quick glance at the B&C menu leaves a lot of room for interpretation. If the $3.99 onion rings were considered an appetizer I don't see why they wouldn't treat a $3.99 soup the same way.

I swear that soup is an "extra" ie, appetizer. We ate at B&C a few years back with a voucher, given to us by our DVC sales rep while they did the paperwork for our purchase. My Dad always laughs about the "free" meal that cost us over $20,000... Anyhow, we couldn't believe how much was included and some of us had the soup, some the onion rings. The voucher was like the DDP -- appetizer, entree, dessert, beverage and tip. Fries come with the sandwiches, and then we had dessert. There was no way we could finish! YUM.
What about the to-go counter at B&C? Shouldn't that be considered counter service?

I'd like to know this :listen: Come to think of it, though, can you get anything but icecream products on the to-go line?
