Hi, taking DW out for a nice dinner on next trip (have KNO coming in for the kids)

Figure that the GF is kind of a fancy place to go for dinner and thus choosing between Citrico's or Narcoosee's for the dinner (V&A does not appeal)

Any feedback or personal experience would be most welcome

cheers

I'll be trying Citrico's on our next trip. We were very disappointed with the food at Narcoosee's. I wouldn't go back there again.

Just my two cents.

We liked the food at Narcoosee's. If you time your day and time for dinner you can also watch the MK fireworks. We have never been to Citrico's so I can't help you on that one.

The Artist Point resturant at VWL is a "fancy place" also and they have great food there. It is a must for us whenever we visit the World.

Good luck in your choice and enjoy wherever you decide to go.

That's unfortunate - was it a specific dish or the whole experience?

thanks

Anything specific you recommend at Artists Point? (I have always wanted to go there but have not had a chance to yet)

We always have a complete dinner when we get the chance to be out alone - soup to nuts. As I recall the appetizers, soup and salad were average good. My wife had the fish special and I had filet mignon. Neither was good and we both did not finish our main course. We were so disappointed that we didn't stay for dessert.

Maybe they had a bad night but with so many other choices at WDW I'm not going to chance it again. YMMV

I love their Cedar plank Salmon & for an appitizer it's the Venison Spring Rolls. All of their food is great. They also have Buffalo, which they suggest not to order well done. It gets tough if you overcook it, but I did have that a few years ago and it was good. They also have a berry cobbler for dessert that is wonderful. By the time you get to the dessert though it is something you will want to share.

Between the Cedar Plank Salmon and the Buffalo it might do the trick (we do cook both of these at home - yum!)

Citricos over Narcoosees...used to go to Narcoosees back when it was new. Our impression is that it went downhill over the years. Citricos has been a great experience the two times we were there. If you are looking for romance, go later at night to avoid the children factor. We have met the chef 2x that way. No allergies to conference over or anything like that, but he delivered our dinner both times we were there.

Like AP too, but it isn't romantic, IMO. The lighting is bright! Not that Citricos is dark, but man, AP is like FULL STRENGTH SUN. :sunny:

Have a great time wherever you end up!!!!
