Ok, maybe you all knew this but I did find out today. If you have your DVC financed you can make extra payments with your credit card!! Woo hoo.

Ok its sounds minor but we make extra payments on our DVC and hay, I can earn a few extra Disney dollars :) :)

It's the little things that make me happy :)

Yes - we've paid a bunch of dues with our Reward $$'s and we have another card wiht reward cash on it - so that'll bring our dues down about 1/2! Yay! It's great you can make the payments with the card, though! Make the payment, get the $$$$, then pay off the payment......

I knew about it, but haven't been able to do it yet. If I ever sell my condo I am going to call MS and make a couple of extra payments. But until then, I'll leave it the way it is.

I don't think paying your dues with a CC makes sense. With the CC you have to pay it all at once ( unless something has changed that I'm unaware of ).

Say your dues are $1000.00. You pay with CC & earn 10 reward dollars then pull out the cash and pay the bill.

Or you set up 12 month auto withdraw payment plan. Keep the $1000.00 in a ING account earning 3.8 APR.

ETA Never mind. I miss read AF's post. I thought you were paying dues with your CC.

jaysue I just noticed you from Aurora I'm just up the road from you.

We pay our dues and payments on our cc for our DVC. With our recent add on we paid the deposit by credit card. We make extra payments when we can it's not a Disney cc.

We pay our monthly payment on our CC and we send in a money order for the dues. We have a fixed 5% interest rate on our CC so it makes more sence to do it that way.
