I am STILL ROCKING AND ROLLING from the Cruise! So sitting at the computer is rough sailing!
And that to the fact that I will board yet another ship on MONDAY is making me a wreck! Unpacking from DCL repacking for girls only cruise, all while churning back and forth and up and down. Fun Fun Fun... not.
I didnt feel ill on the Wonder at all. I was aware of every little movement, but nothing made me feel off center. Even a couple of Barcardi and Cokes (with lime) didnt throw me for a loop. But getting OFF the ship... WHEW... it has been a looooooooong week.
I almost fell over after getting off of Soarin! We had time to spend a couple of hours at Epcot and we HAD to do Soarin... I almost fell over... do you understand?? I dont fall over... You can twrill me in any and all directions and it is fun. No fall... fun...
Ugh. My only saving grace is maybe when I get on board the Fascination my rolling and the ship's rolling will cancel each other out and I wont feel a thing.
DW was a bit tippy for a few days after our cruise. She didn't like it one bit, mind you. Really felt unsteady driving. I oftenfound her gripping the edge of the counter just standing there. Fortunately I only felt it the first day off and it quickly passed.
All in all she considered it worth the price of the cruise. We managed to do this when DS was still free. Now only if we could figure out how to get back on one without waiting for them to graduate and move out
Good luck with the second go 'round.
P.S. Add more lime

I hope we get to read about both trips when you are feeling better from them. I never thought about having trouble get your land legs back afterward. Does it give you nausea like the ship gives others?
Oh, have fun with the girls :D

Lisa.... I plan on writing my DCL trip report while on the Girls cruise! LOL I have been cleaning like a mad woman, getting the house all ready for a week without mommy. I have everything for the kids lunches next week, just need to shop for a bit more staples like milk and bread and DH should be set.
I am dreading writing out the kids schedules. Shouldnt he know them?? LOL I hope he remembers to have the girls do their homework. And to change he boy before bed..... ::::Sigh:::::
This cruise will be the longest I have left the kids under DH's care. I hope they all survive the week.

You have more courage than I did, or more faith in your DH  I think he did care for them once when they were six and three for several days. It was really weird. Oh, and I was in the hospital for five days once and he took over. I was too sick to pay attention well  Actually he did fine; he just couldn't match their clothes :D
Have a great time!!!

Courage??? Faith??? Naw.... lol As far as DH's go, mine is great with the kids... just the sudelties are lost on him (ie changing the boy right before bed, even if you changed him less than an hour ago)
I figure if he doesnt kill them or let them kill each other ALL IS GOOD!
DH and I have a deal... when one of us goes on a trip, we have a really great time. We dont worry at all about what is happening on the home front. We just have a great time. Otherwise what is the point? Go on a great trip to pine about missing the kids... NO WAY! That is short changing the parent at home with the kids.. doing double work so the other can mope around?? DOnt think so!
So like I said above, if he doesnt kill them or let them kill each other ALL IS GOOD!
