I thought it might be fun as well as give new ideas as to what we store in our Owners Locker that is unique to YOU! We have seen the lists of similiar items that we all store, but what did you put in your locker that is maybe a little out of the ordinary???
Me first, me first!!!! :D
I have stored 3 plug and play video games for my kids. Disney, Pacman and Spongebob.
Ds loves NOT having them here at home as it makes them extra special knowing the are waiting for him when he goes back to Disney.
Your turn! :)

Don't know if I'd consider it unique or not, but I have a snorkle in our locker.

Nutella of course.
And chocolate bath stuff.

I think my most unique item is a full sized keyboard for my laptop. I don't like the way you have to squish up your hands to type onto a laptop. It really is a treat to have the keyboard there. :computerg

Don't quote me on this, but I think ours was the first one to have something placed on the OUTSIDE of it.
When we got home after that trip, we had an email waiting for us that said:
"...the Locker with the cute silver Mickey logo has made it home safely....."

I guess the only unusual thing we have is two ice trays.
Maybe unusual, maybe not, a swiss army knife, and a pop-up clothes hamper.
oooh, oooh, I do have a box of unopened Mickey cookies from our last trip that would not be expiring until after our next trip.
Nond of this is very exciting, but necessary, and our locker is packed full to the brim. Anyone considered having two lockers yet?
I honestly can't remember what the heck is in my locker. List? Yeah, right.
It's going to be like early :santa: when we open ours back up in Dec.

I know what you mean. We were like that after our first trip. I knew the dishes, silverware and glasses were in there. But beyond that, everything else was pretty much a surprise.
Last trip, I was a little more organized and wrote down more things that were left behind in our locker. But still, it is not down to every little item.

Forgive my newbie question, we have to bring dishes and silverware???? Is there anything else that we should take for our first trip?

I have had that thought several times Rwe. I'm going to take the dividers out in October and see how much more room that will give us, I really like the dividers as I love to be orgainized, but it takes up so much space. I can safely say if we had a 2nd locker, we could fill that one up in a heartbeat. Isn't it amazing how much stuff you can think to put in our OL's?

No, that is just personal preference.
If you are in a 1BR or larger, all of the glassware, plates, and cookware are provided for you.
If you are in a studio, you are provided with plastic and paper utensils, plates, etc.
Sorry for the confusion.

Look, guys. I've chosen to move this thread to the CH "Jokes, Fun, and Games" subforum for a couple of reasons.
First, I think there's an unhealthy obsession with Owners Locker that often causes the proprietor, John, to have to respond and post in ways that make him uncomfortable, lest he wind up looking like a meanie (witness the "cabana boy" incident).
Owners Locker is a business whose owners are really trying to make it succeed, and in that sense, I think we owe them every bit of respect that they, as businessmen, have given us, as customers. I think we are nearing the point at which we no longer are bestowing upon them that respect, and that concerns me deeply. I especially want John to be able to post on MO as a DVC owner, and not the "cabana boy" proprietor of Owners Locker, and I am asking you to respect that, if only for John's sake. How would you feel if you were in his position?
Secondly, John now has active forums that are meant to address just this sort of thing. What do you pack in your Locker? Trust me, if you want to help him out, you will do him lots more good by offering testimonials about his product and service on his own site. I'm not suggesting that you stop giving shout-outs or asking DVC-related questions about Owners Locker here. I'm just asking you to give more careful thought both about your posts and about where to place them.
Thanks,
Kim
ETA: I am not saying that this thread has turned inappropriate or OT. I am cautioning against it doing so, as these threads seem to have done in the past.

Hey DisneyDeb,
It's John from Owner's Locker here. You won't need to bring silverware or plates. The one, two and three bedroom units have regulation silverware and plates while the studios have the disposable stuff. Some of our Members like to stay in studios but prefer real tableware so they keep them in their Locker. Others just like to eat off their own plates and we have a number of Members who keep kosher tableware in their Locker.
...and Kim's suggestion that we have discussions like this over at the Owner's Locker forums is appropriate. We have a great working relationship with Mouseowners and discussing OL here is certainly OK. We wouldn't be where we are without our Mouseowners pals! But subjects that are more OL than MO should probably be conducted over there. Here's a link:

We always stay in a studio but don't keep silverware in our Locker.
We either visit Mar at her BWV 1 bdrm and steal some of hers or we wonder thru a buffet line and pocket what we need.

Not trying to be disrespectful to Mors, OL or John at all in my posting of this question Kim. I was simply asking for fresh/different ideas. Thats it. The thread actually gave me the idea that swim goggles would be nice to add to my locker for ds. I was hoping that others would enjoy the info as well.
I will direct OL questions to the OL forums- :)
