I have heard from my friend via a phone call tonight( who is doing the Virginia Beach R&R 1/2), that a person at the Disney Booth stated that the Minnie is alive and well and will be the first weekend of May!

Enjoy and plan your May Trip!!!

BTW, she told me that this will be the last year:(

Another source that talked to Disney said it wiil be replaced with a 1/2, probably "Princess" themed.

Disney has posted the race dates, times, etc on the Minnie Marathon Weekend.

The dates are May 2-4 2008.

HI there - - I am thinking of doing the 15K - but have not done one of these at Disney before - does anyone know what/where the spectators do while we run? Can they wait at the finish line? Is the finish line in the park and if so will they have to pay admission?

Spectators can wait at the finish line. They can also go along the course by the EPCOT resorts and watch as the course goes by.

The finish line is outside the park in the parking lot. No admission is needed.
