Hope my friends here can help with this.
Ok, my DDE expires 4/30, I will get 1 more trip out of it before it expires. After that trip I won't be going until 10/06. I got the DDE form in the mail today. Looks like new members and renewal is both $60 so my best bet is then to let this one expire and just order a new one in like Sept?
And the AP expires 4/18 and will also get one more trip out of that. So same question-is my best bet w/that to let that expire and order a new one in Sept? Will I still get the $100 DVC discount? Renewing would be chaper but I know I won't be returned after March and before Oct.
TIA

I would let them expire and get new ones later. There is a 6 month lapse between trips so that is 6 months worth of $$ you will put in that you won't use.

Mine both expire similar to yours. I bought an AP before the price went up, and will trade in that voucher for a new AP late this year. At that time I will renew my DDE.
Cobbler gave you good info....

Thanks Coobler & Bavaria:)
Just thought of another question-sorry:hammer:
Should I just hold on to the form I got yesterday and send it in when I'm ready for a new DDE? Since I will be letting the currect one expire, I would check new member, not renewal, correct?

Well, if the price is the same for both new members and renewal, I would probably check 'renewal'. That way they know to check for your information already on file.
That's just a guess, though!

Yeah, not too sure though. Because it asked for the membership # on the form, and if I've let my membership expire, then that wouldn't be my # anymore.
Boy, I feel like such a newbie..lol..

But just think - you'll be the first to brave the waters, and can then be the 'expert' and educate the rest of us!!! :ROTFL:

Usually when you "renew" any sort of annual membership with Disney, the new year starts immediately after the old year ends. I'd call to clarify before you renew your DDE.
