So I have friends that want to join us in Dec we are renting points for them as we are out of points. I am awaiting a definitive answer from them I have given them access to the website with my member ID to try and help speed up the process on getting them to choose a resort all it has managed to do is make them even more indecisive has anyone else allowed their friends access to the member site in hopes of helping htem make a decision only to have it hamper the process?

I haven't taken friends, only family. They go where I go because they trust in my obsessive interest in WDW and I haven't let them down yet.
When I was in retail sales I was taught never to give the customer more than two items to look at. Anything more and they couldn't decide and you'd lose the sale. Gently steer them to two resorts that you like and let them choose between them.

Oh we have and they decided to stay where we were going to stay then they wanted to know what packages were available and now they are back to wanting DVC ugh they are driving me nuts LOL. So I have now told them they can choose between SSR and BWV because I am taking the time to arrange the points for them so that is what they get LOL.
Wow, you are so nice to give them choices! We have two guys coming with us in Oct. I told them: "Here's where we're staying. Here's what it'll cost you to stay with us. Are you in or out?"
I feel for ya with all the back and forth!

Well I got the news today that they are definatley out. I was called today and my friend let me know his wife gave him a big suprise last night she handed him and envelope and inside were the DIVORCE papers. They have been together for as long as I have known them man was I in shock at that one.

Ouch! That's a shock!
Incidentally, if you gave them your ID and password for dvcmember.com, you might want to consider changing your password. With all of the new on-line functionality being added to the site, the last thing you need is to discover that someone was inadvertently messing with your trips somewhere down the road. Yeah, I know it's probably unlikely in the grand scheme of things...but changing that password would sure help me sleep better at night. :catchingz

You should suggest a reconciliation cruise to your friend. The Alaska cruise would be perfect. Give them time away from everything to try and sort things out.
Just tell him to be careful. People fall off cruise ships all the time and it doesn't get noticed for hours. With the water being so cold you could easily become a popcicle is a matter of minutes. Wouldn't want that to happen.

I hear that happens more often than we know and the cruise staff just stands by the gangplank as people are exiting the ship handing out hush-money to the departing guests. ;)

Hmm maybe not a bad idea LOL I was going to offer them something but I was turned down so I will just be a shoulder for them when they need to talk etc I am close friends with both him and his wife I have known them for almost 20 years.
