Wow, that is pretty long. I guess with the early December ressies and being a Monday, they were a little overloaded. Glad to hear you got what you wanted :)

If I remember correctly, it will be like this (particularly on Mondays) at least through the end of the month. Stimpy's exactly right about the 11 month thing. Many people have taken to doing day-by-day reservations for December leading to a ridiculous increase in call volume throughout the month.

when i tried calling this morning, it was a 20 minute wait, i'll call another day.

I called at about 9:20 ET, it said a 20 minute wait, but I got through in about 10 minutes! Got all 5 nights in the 2 bdrm - wasn't real worried as it was SSR!

Any ideas on getting out of this day by day cycle - if you really want a day by day would it not be better to submit a vacation request online to DVC - one for each day you want?

Honestly, I don't think I would rely on emailing a request. I don't know how often they check it and by the time they do what you want may be gone. I've done the day-by-day thing a few times and usually Mondays are the worst, the other days usually aren't too long of a wait...maybe 5 minutes or so.

If you aren't looking for something hard to get, you may be able to wait a day or two in between. But if you are looking, for example, for a Std view at BWV, I would call every morning since there is a lot of competition looking for those villas in the low point season.
