I love it! We are childfree and plan to stay that way for at least the next five years, if not forever.
And of course, all of those moms and dads out there need ideas for their adults-only trips!

I agree! I am happy to see this. I have never travelled to WDW w/kids. I don't have any of my own, so I am happy to be able to have the opportunity to talk about WDW just from a single adult perspective.
Don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to seeing WDW through kids eyes, but until then, I am an adult and I wanna live it up WDW style:kickingco

You're welcome!
Eric and I are DINKS (and will be forever), so this is kinda near and dear to my heart. Of course, we are really just big kids (which explains why we love Disney so much....). Anyway, there's tons o' stuff for "big kids" to do, and I figured we could talk about it.

Ah, I no longer qualify, (no double income, and a child), but did about 10 trips as an adult without children. Totally understand the no kids deal -- I was a reluctant Mom!
I found that it wasn't the kids I didn't like at WDW, but the parents who thought that they could take a vacation from parenting! Esp. at dinner! :veryconfu So, probably my #1 strategy for avoiding this was to book our meals late: late lunch, late dinner. Really made a difference in the "adult" atmosphere at Disney restaurants.

I'm so glad to hear that we're not the only DINKS that love to go to WDW! I am so glad this forum is here!!! :doublejum

Well we used to be DINKs but now we are SINKs (quit my job, do we still qualify???). We love going to WDW kidless. We have been going steadily since 1992 when we got married. Neither of us were Disney fanatics then, but we have grown into the obsession gradually. DVC seemed to seal it though.
So, how many people do you know that think you are crazy???

Yes! I think you still qualify! Everyone I meet thinks we're crazy! They can't figure out how we could love Disney w/o having kids. We just tell them that we're kids at heart!

Yup. We believe that children should not have children :jumpingbe .
We are confirmed and forever DINKS! We LOVE the World. Pleasure Island is great, although DH laments the loss of the Jazz club. Many of the resort restaurants are very romantic. We love the parks, but a nice slow paced dinner at a dimly lit romantic resort is a great way to end the day.

Us, too!! People do think we might be a little nuts -- especially since we don't have (and will never have) kids -- about Disney, but we even have it all over the house. We've set our Tivo to record any and all Disney travel programs. We do ADRs, tours, and plan, plan, plan. And sometimes we just relax there (okay, when hurricanes force us to relax). But we just can't help it. For me, it's my happy place.
In two weeks, we go to Maui, and I'm sure that will be great. (We have lots of fun stuff planned: powered hanggliding, ATVing, Ziplining, a horseback ride down to the bottom of Haleakala crater, etc.) I'm looking forward to it. But it doesn't get me as crazed as Disney.
